Directions to the Hospital


Queen's Hospital, Burton is centrally located with easy access from all parts of the Midlands.
Simply follow the directions from your departure point and follow the 'Hospital signs' that are located in and around the outskirts of the town.


From the South  M40 North

M40 After Junction 16 join M42 North (3A) towards Birmingham/Nottingham.
At Junction 11 join A444 towards Burton upon Trent
When you reach Burton follow signs to Hospital.  See point E on local plan

From the South West  M5 North

M5  At Junction 4A join M42 North towards Birmingham/Nottingham
At Junction 11 join A444 towards Burton upon Trent
When you reach Burton follow signs to Hospital.  See point E on local plan

From the South East M1 North

M1 At junction 24 join A50 North towards Stoke on Trent
After approx 12 miles exit left onto A38 Burton on Trent
When you reach exit to A5121 follow signs to hospital. See point B on local plan

From the North East  M1 South

M1 At junction 28 join A38 towards Derby
Follow A38 around Derby for Burton on Trent
When you reach exit to A5121 follow signs to hospital. See point B on local plan

From the North West  M6 South

M6 At junction 15 exit onto A500 Stoke on Trent
After about 2 miles slip road to A50 South
Follow A50 south exit onto A511 for Tutbury and Burton on Trent
When you reach Burton follow signs to Hospital.  See point A on local plan
