Patients at Queens Hospital

Preparing to come into hospital as a patient can be a worrying time. You may be feeling unwell, or in pain, and on top of that there is the fear of the unknown if you are facing surgery or hospital admission for the first time.

This section of the website aims to give you all the information you need to help you plan and prepare for your forthcoming visit, whether you are attending as an inpatient, an outpatient or a day patient. We hope you will find it reassuring.

Burton Hospitals Foundation Trust works hard to ensure that all patients are treated in the way they would expect to be treated - with consideration and respect.

Our promise to you is that we will always be approachable, listen to what you tell us and understand that your opinions are our opportunity to improve.

Please note that Burton Hospitals are smoke-free sites. Smoking is only permitted within the smoking shelter outside A & E (Queen's site).
