Invitation to join in a Community over 60’s Tea Party and Wellbeing Event

STAFF at Samuel Johnson Community Hospital in Lichfield are organising an Over 60s Tea Party to meet with patients and discuss new ideas for how the hospital can support their wellbeing.

The event is taking place on Tuesday 31 January 2017 between 11am and 3pm and is aimed at those patients aged over 60 who use the hospital facilities. Staff are keen to hear from patients over the age of 60 about what they think of the services the hospital provides and what more can be done to support their care needs.

Ben Goodwin, Operations Director for the hospital, who is organising the Tea Party at Samuel Johnson, said: “It’s important that we talk to our patients on a regular basis about what we are doing right and if there is anything we can assist them with. This is a chance to have a cup of tea, maybe a piece of cake, and chat to our staff on an informal basis about how we can make their care better.”
