Members of the public and Foundation Trust members are warmly invited to attend the Council of Governors meeting on 16 March at 5:30pm  which will be held at the Medical Education Centre, Queen’s Hospital, Burton on Trent.  DE13 0RB   Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and to hear more from the Council of Governors who oversee the Trust’s Hospitals which are Queen’s Hospital, Burton; Samuel Johnson Community Hospital, Lichfield and Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital, Tamworth.

A public question and answer session is held at the start of each Council of Governors meeting.  Questions should be provided in writing to the Chairman at the Hospital's address by midday of the day of the meeting or in advance via email:

Questions will be taken on the day of the meeting providing they are in writing and submitted to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. However, it may not be possible to provide a comprehensive answer on the day so the response may need to be held over until the next meeting of the Council

The Council of Governors have a number of statutory duties and at this meeting they will provide a summary report of the informal governors meeting. January’s meeting will also include an update from the Chief Executive, Helen Scott-South.
