Plantar Warts/Verrucae

Primary care

Tick Salicylic acid paints, with soaking and pumicing and the application of an adhesive plaster - adhered to regularly achieves 84% cure rate at 3 months or 40% for mosaic plantar warts.
Tick Cryotherapy (i.e. freezing with liquid nitrogen) is painful on the soles and less effective because of the insulation of the very thick stratum corneum and the embedded nature of the wart.
