Planning For The Future – Your Views

Every year, Monitor (the Foundation Trust Regulator) requires all foundation trusts to submit an annual plan to comply with the Foundation Trust Compliance Framework. This annual plan provides information on our past year’s performance and our future plans. Our current plan is available to view on the Trust’s website on the Corporate Information pages http://www.burtonhospitals.nhs.uk/corporate/busPlan.asp.
Our vision and purpose is to provide excellent community and secondary care health services close to and for local people. In order to serve this local population to best effect we aspire to provide as broad a range of services as possible in settings that are the most appropriate. This is done in response to local needs and in collaboration with patients, members and partners.
As a valued member of Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you are invited to let us know your views on the developments you would like us to consider when we are planning for the future. To assist you with this we have provided a short form for you to complete and send to us. The form can be filled in and submitted on-line or you can print it and post it to us. Your views are important, however, please bear in mind that it will not be possible for us to implement every suggestion. We need to ensure that our services are in the best interests of all our patients.
Closing date for suggestions is 11 February 2010.
