Council of Governors Public Meetings
This section of the website contains details and papers of meetings of the Council of Governors.
Members of the Foundation Trust and the Public are welcome to attend these meetings as observers and provides an opportunity to speak to the elected Governors
Council of Governors Meetings are held on alternate months:

Agenda/Papers for next meeting:

The Agenda papers will be available on the website 5 days prior to the meeting. Minutes of the meetings will be published when available.
All meetings are open to the public.
Access from 5.00pm , meeting to commence at 5.30 pm
A maximum 15 minutes public question and answer session is being introduced at the start of each Council of Governors meeting.
Questions should be provided in writing to the Chairman at the Hospital's address by midday of the day of the meeting or in advance via email: questions@burtonft.nhs.uk.
Questions will be taken on the day of the meeting providing they are in writing and submitted to the Committee Secretary prior to the start of the meeting.
However, it may not be possible to provide a comprehensive answer on the day so the response may need to be held over until the next meeting of the Council.
We welcome invitations to hold Council of Governors meetings within your constituency or area in the future, where suitable venues are available.
