Orthodontics is a specialised branch of dentistry concerned with the development and management of irregularities and abnormalities of the teeth, jaws and face. Its aim is to produce a healthy functional bite, creating greater resistance to disease and improving personal appearance.

Orthodontic Consultant; Mr DJ Spary

Mr Spary is supported by a team including specialist registrars, clinical assistants and specialist dental nurses, all of whom strive to ensure patients receive first class care.

The department has a dedicated on site laboratory who provide a full range of medical devices, which include orthodontic appliances, maxillofacial appliances and osteotomy planning.

Only patients with significant malocclusion who could not be treated in specialist practice are accepted for treatment.  Priority is given to patients who require surgery in addition to orthodontics.
