Macmillan Cancer Information Centre

The Macmillan Cancer Information Centre is located in the main Queen's Hospital entrance immediately before the coffee shop. It is open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm and provides information and support to patients and carers, healthcare professionals and members of the public.

Enquiries can be made either in person, by letter, telephone or email.

It offers information about cancer at all stages of the disease, the types of treatment that may be offered to patients and the services that are available locally.

If you or your family have been affected by cancer, you can get free, confidential welfare benefits advice from our benefits advisor who is available at the hospital. Appointments can be arranged via the information centre or by any staff member working in the Oncology department.

Outside the opening hours, a message can be left on the answerphone and someone will return your call as soon as possible.
