  • Principal Investigator in a clinical trial comparing the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of leveratiracetam and zonisamide versus standard treatments for epilepsy: A compatison of Standard and New Antiepileptic Drugs (SANADII).
  • Investigator in a phase 2/3, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled (PartA) and double-blind, double dummy, active-controlled (PartB) parallel group study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of RPC1063 administered orally to relapsing remitting multiple scleroses patients.
  • She was recruiting patients with Myasthenia Gravis who failed on two immunosuppressant treatment for research trial in Manchester.
  • She was recruiting patients with Inclusion Body Myositis in drug research trial  BYM338 in the University College London Hospitals.

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust:

  • She recruited a number of patients for ongoing trials in Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Recruited patients were with acute stroke for thrombolysis (IST-3), with cervical artery dissection (CADISS), high risk patients with recent ischemic stroke (TARCIS), with refractory simple/complex partial seizures with unilateral mesial temporal scleroses for Radiosurgery and Open Surgery for Epilepsy Seizures (ROSE) clinical trial.

Vilnius University Hospital, Lithuania:

  • She was investigator for the Clinical Research trails in Stroke (ITS-3), Parkinson disease in Vilnius University Hospital in Lithuania.

Nordic School of Public Heath, Gothenburg, Sweden:

  • The prospective epidemiological ‘Lifestyle and migration as a risk factor among adult foreigners in Vilnius and Kaunas cities’. Essay for Master of Public Health.

 Institute of Neurology, Academy of Medical Sciences of USSR, Moscow:

  • Her PhD/Dissertation: Antibodies to Myelin Basic Protein in Patients with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Scleroses, Optic Neuritis and their Healthy Relatives. Clinical-immunological study. Abstract published in ECTRIMS materials, in Korsakov journal for Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Moscow and in Seminars in Neurology, Vilnius, Lithuania.
