Dr Sarah Pearson graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 1997. She always knew that Emergency Medicine was what she wanted to do, but she gained experience in various other specialities in hospitals around the West Midlands. She gained additional paediatric experience from Birmingham Children’s Hospital. She undertook higher speciality training in Emergency Medicine and gained sub-speciality training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. 

Dr Pearson started work in Burton in 2008. She enjoys working with the multi-disciplinary team within the Emergency Department to diagnose and find the best course of treatment for her patients. 

Dr Pearson is the lead within the ED for Paediatric Emergency Medicine. She represents Emergency Medicine on various committees including the Resuscitation committee, Mortality Review Group, Organ Donation, Trust Safeguarding and Services for Children. 

Dr Pearson is an Associate Clinical Tutor for Simulation Medicine for the Foundation Year doctors. She is also the Clinical Representative on the Project Board for the Trust Website.
